Trichorhina tomentosa 'Dwarf White' - 25 count

Dwarf White Isopods (Trichorhina tomentosa) are a tiny, soft-bodied isopod that thrive in the leaf litter of tropical vivariums. These isopods are particularly relished by dart frogs of all sizes as an occasional food source. They establish quickly and participate as a clean-up crew, breaking down waste and decaying plant matter. At Tinc Tank, we feed our isopods a variety of fish foods and dried shrimp 1-2x a week with oyster shells provided as a calcium source so these terrestrial crustaceans can develop healthy, calcium-rich exoskeletons. ABG mix plus plenty of litter is the preferred substrate for isopods.
