Note that your failure to read our terms and conditions, whether intentional or accidental will under no circumstances be a reason to consider them altered or void.
Tinc Tank ships vertebrates Monday through Wednesday with the exception of holidays. Animal shipments will not be sent on Thursday or Friday unless the destination is within the state of Ohio. All other orders placed after 3:00 pm EST on Wednesday may not be shipped until the following Monday.
Tinc Tank has a no return and no refund policy for all orders. If you need to request a cancellation on an order before it ships to you, we can offer store credit. In some instances, if a refund is granted, the cost of shipping will not be refunded.
We do our best to sex your animal using our experience, but we cannot guarantee the sex on any animal unless otherwise specified.
The buyer must be present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt or all guarantees are void.
Invertebrate Live Arrival Guarantee
If the origin and/or destination temperatures are greater than 89°F or less than 36°F, invertebrates can only be shipped via FedEx Standard Overnight.
If your items are dead on arrival, you must notify us of the condition of the item(s) with pictures that include your invoice/packing slip beside the items within 1 hour of arrival. All claims received outside of that timeframe will be void. Claims may be submitted here: contact us.
Animal Live Arrival Guarantee
All animals are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight. Someone must be present to accept the package on the first delivery attempt. It is your responsibility to check the temperatures at checkout when you schedule your delivery date to ensure the safety of your animals. Failure to do-so will void our live arrival guarantee.Live arrival will be guaranteed if:
- The package is picked up at a FedEx Ship Center by noon on the day of arrival. We will not knowingly ship to and do not guarantee any live animal shipments to FedEx Office Print & Ship Centers, FedEx Drop Box, or FedEx OnSite locations at stores (such as Walgreens).
- The origin and/or destination temperatures greater than 89°F or less than 36°F.
- We delay shipment because the temperatures are not between 36°F and 89°F. It is your responsibility to check your email for any notifications about delays.
- Any shipment routing changes or incorrect address provided by the customer.
- Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii.
- Carrier delays or mishandling resulting in late arrival. We do not offer refunds on shipping fees due to late deliveries.
- Animals not directly shipped from us, but shipped "direct from importers".
All animals have a live arrival guarantee when shipped directly from us. We cannot offer any guarantee after the arrival.
If a shipment is refused and sent back to us, we reserve the right to withhold the original shipping fee, the return shipping fee, and any additional handling fees for animals/items which are received back to us in a healthy condition. The buyer must repay shipping if they wish to have the order reshipped. Any animals returned to us in a dead or unhealthy condition will not be refunded.
You are responsible for knowing your local wildlife laws and regulations. We will not knowingly ship any orders that are in violation of any state or federal laws.
Claims

Subscribe and Save
TincTank.com reserves the right to change the Subscribe and Save discount amounts and eligibility criteria in addition to termination of the subscription order at any time in its sole discretion without notice.
Some of the offer details may change as you receive deliveries over time (for example, price, taxes, availability, and shipping charges). All changes, including for existing subscriptions, will apply to future orders.
We will automatically fulfill your Subscribe and Save subscription order according to your chosen delivery schedule. Your subscription will continue and your payment method will be charged until you cancel the subscription.
The total cost for each Subscribe and Save item shipment will be charged to the payment method used to create your subscription. Each charge will be submitted for payment on the date that your item ships. If we are unable to complete your Subscribe and Save order with the payment method you used to create your subscription, we reserve the right to pause or cancel your Subscribe and Save subscription order.
You may cancel your Subscribe and Save subscription at any time or pause the subscription service before it ships using the button labeled “Manage your subscription” in the confirmation email sent to the email you provided at checkout.
